  1. Also ask for the tax I'd of the place your going to and the procedure code, and call your insurance company to see what there contracted rate is. The facility that gave you a quote might not know there contracted rate with your insurance and is just giving you a generic figure.

Also your insurance company can find your other facilities and give you a price on those too.

  2. It's way more expensive with out insurance normally

    Let's say it's 15k for the procedure.

If you have insurance they are most likely contracted to accept say 8k

If you don't have insurance they can and will charge you 15k.

Now in your suitation they sound like they are willing to work with you which is not always common so I would run with it.

Also the reason why they charge more to insurance(even know they will accept less) is they know they will get there larger sum of money some how.

Sucks but thank you for keeping me in a job :D

  3. Will be doing doing this winter.

Plan on insulating the wall and putting up drywall. Haven't thought About the garage door, but it makes sense. Even if it helps a few degrees it's worth it the small investment.

My 2 year olds room is right above the garage and her room is the coldest in the winter by 5 degrees.

  4. Ha I was just thinking about this last night if I had to start all over again I would buy a cheap camper van and roam around this country till I found a area that I would be happy to live in.

I think about this all the time, But with my wife and child its just not in the cards.

If life went the other way and i didnt get married/kid i would drop everything and start traveling the US in a small rv/van. I follow multiple people on youtube that do this for a living and i am envious of them. Another option would be to live in a tiny home on a a slice of land.

    Something like this .

After seeing my first dirt track race, i now understand why my father in law travels all throughout the united states to watch some of these races.

Some of the most insane, close racing, with drivers who just wanna drive because they love it!
