Hey Rusty, whats up!! I am glad you finally joined the site. I know that there seems to be some douchers in this thread already, too bad for them that they cant just chill out and enjoy this place and welcome the new memebers. To Douchers: I have been telling people about the Ohio Riders site and getting them to sign up and when they do you instantly start negating the guy's story and start turning it into personal attacks and dumb shit about Mohawks. Seriously? Is this how you are gonna treat new people on the boards? Such an immature shame that you are gonna try and push new riders away so quickly. Now if someone does something stupid at an OR event like push someones bike over....then you can become judgemental. We dont need the negative BS right off the bat here. And, I can tell you that that R1 is very fast, I rode the damn thing. I am sure that Russ would be glad to race it against anything you like in order to show you this.

I just want to thank Reuben for helping me out on such short notice. Friday afternoon I found a small puncture in my tire and I did not want to ride all the way to Columbus and around and then back again the next day for the scavenger hunt on that tire. I called Reuben and he said he would be around to help me out. I got there at about 7pm friday evening and he mounted and balanced an almost brand new Michelin Pilot Power rear tire for me. Cost me $110 with the rim off the bike. Thank you for helping me out especially a friday evening. I dont know any other places that will change a tire at 7pm on a Friday. He has many many sets of nearly new, or new tires for very very good prices. If ya wanna save some money on tires he is the guy to go to. Will be buying more from him in the future!

Hey everyone, want to say that I had a great time yesterday with the scavenger hunt then afterparty. It was nice meeting some of the faces behind the avatars. Nobody got hurt and no speeding tickets. That was a good day! Now......Who wants to buy these friggen tickets to a Monsters of Mock show at Crazy Willies???? Ten bucks and Ill mail em to you. Haha! no, im not joking.....

My problem is when I am out riding in a familiar area that I know typically has traffic and cops but there is no traffic; I get the urge to ride a wheelie and I think about it for a second and realize its not worth it because ill pull it up and my luck there would be a cop hiding in a driveway or coming towards me. That and going way too fast on the highway, its too easy. It was fun tho on the Pittsburgh trip coming home riding with Sam on his Busa to the right of me and Fonz to the left of me on his blackbird doing 100 down the highway all with our brights on.

Well I got a call back on monday to go pick up my license. I went up today and got it. I took the class taught by Jim Barnes in Lima. Got my background check back in exactly 7 days from Auglaize county sheriff. Like I said I am waiting for my holster to come in now. Good stuff!

Sorry to come back to a kind of old thread, I ordered a crossbreed supertuck IWB holster. I am going to carry my SW FS M&P 40. I hope to pick up the same thing in the compact version and this holster will work for the compact as well.

Well my instructor informed me that in the county that I plan on going to has about a 1 and a half week turnaround. So I am hoping it goes fast. I am not in a great hurry though because I need to sell some stuff to afford a holster.

Passed my class yesterday! Now I just have to do some paperwork and go to the Sheriff's office, then wait! Anyone want to donate money to my holster fund?

I really dont like it that much. Look at the case on the engine...it just looks gawdy...why not throw the vtx1800 engine in there? Honda always does the weirdest shit. Why not throw a goldwing engine in that frame. That would be interesting.

Jeesh I remember just a couple years ago a guy out of California shipped a set of Michelin PP's to my house for $230. That was a great deal. Since then I only run PP's and usually get em for about $300 a set. I guess that's not happening anymore. Good thing I shouldn't need any new tires for about 3000 miles.
