  1. Did it. Only 215 shares.
  2. Is that the only difference? Just curious.
  3. I am happy. I thought about moving once and then my cousin talked sense into me by explaining he can't find a place to shoot clays or target shoot. I'd be interested in your first post location, not that your looking for a buying partner but my brother has the same type of property on the corner of the Muskingum and Wolf creek.

    Deer Season

I had two does jog past my treestand but they were small i let them go. Then a buck comes walking back up their trail. He walked in to about 20 feet from my stand. He was about a 3 point. Like a spiked buck but about 4" curly spikes on each side but one was split at the top. ABout the size of a big finger. He stood broad side for a while then smelled something and took off. It was a blast watching him. Hopefully he'll grow into something next year.
  6. Soy sauce, Worchestershire sauce, Onion powder, accent, garlic powder, Tabasco, pepper, seasoned salt, liquid smoke x2. Mt. Dew, Diet pepsi, door seal and a mini tree for the gf.
  7. What do those trees look like today? The state doesn't offer seedlings anymore.:-( I wouldn't like it being a shooting range either. A quite place to go and you know who's been there and who's going to be there. I'd think hunting season would be off limits for plinking especially if someone else is there or some body's bow hunting. I like the calendar idea. I wouldn't go rabbit hunting if someone's bow hunting. It would just take common sense with a respectful group of people. A tree farmer around me allows certain people to hunt but you have to place a flag at certain points to signal your hunting a certain section and of course one jerk always leaves his flag up overnight. Which is against the rules. I don't hunt there but it's the same guy I allowed to hunt on my property once and he's the bring his buddies, there everyday type. My neighbor. Everyone has issues with him. I like to come home and if i wanted to go hunting know that him and 5 buddies didn't just go thru it. I really don't understand him.

  11. 1800 or 1200 I don't remember. I'm sending this heater back. It looks nice, works nice and heats nice. No special technology involved. I don't need a another piece of furniture, I just need a simple heater. If you're worried about aesthetics, this is the heater for you.
  12. Well said, great info. If you have an attitude of you can hunt or ride on it because it's not posted or when someone gives "you" permission to hunt somewhere and you bring a "few" buddies assuming it's ok without asking or you assume that means it's ok anytime for the next decade. I don't want anything to do with you.
  13. Thanks. he wants to keep it around $400

  17. There are few good reads on this topic. An LLC seems like a good idea, Life insurance policies that payout to the other to buy the land, provisions for divorce, all kinds of thing to handle worse case senarios. How the taxes would be paid. Would you want friends of friends showing up. In my book it would be no. Accompanied by an owner only, just a simple, peacful place to visit once in a while and hunt, fish, ride, camp while respecting the other shareholders. 2. If you're going to buy with a group, choosing the members of that group is even more important than choosing the land. One energy vampire, one person who's contributing more money and demands more respect or decision-making power, one person who can't take criticism or won't compromise, even one person with a selfish and competitive view of reality, and your group is doomed. If you're lucky it will fall apart before you buy the land. I think one happy-dog person, friendly and easy-going but undisciplined, will add to a group, but two is too many. You need at least one person who's good at working out conflicts between the other people, and at least one person who's good with numbers. Different views on the topic: http://forums.qdma.com/showthread.php?t=29035 http://ranprieur.com/misc/landtips.html Alaskan water front land. Kinda intersting and CHEAP. http://www.dnr.alaska.gov/mlw/landsale/otc/regions_subdiv.cfm?region=nr
  18. You should buy something from Wal-mart and sneak it onto Kmarts shelf. Shame on you.
  19. I received my Heat Smart heater. Very nice woodwork and controls are very simple. Easy remote control. Quite, for having fans. The washable magnet filter stuck to the back is a smart idea. I must say though the heating part of it is nothing more than air blowing past infrared bulbs and I would bet it would be more efficient if the bulbs were exposed. Basically it's a "pretty" heater and your paying for the woodwork and design. It would make a nice end table.
  20. Sounds good, I'm game. I don't think there is a limit. We could develope a buyers contract amongst ourselves and clauses to cover when someone wants to sell, insurance costs, every possible situation, et cetera. Could turn it into a very private club. Owners could then operate the club and charge dues for memberships or just keep it private. Easy as pie.
