Where I am at, 1 year of experience equals 1 year of college in the related field. But they ALWAYS hire experience over a degree.

No, they pay us for the training. We dont pay for training at all.

Not really similar. Anyone can get hired. Then the training starts. And the training is about 6 months. (It was only 4 weeks when I started)

You cant have the job without going thru the training. It's all "on the job" type training. If one cant make it thru, then they are fired.

I'd say more like Biden = Palin. They neither one are real bright. However, I dont really think that it matters who the President is anymore. The President doesn't really run the country anymore. The House and Senate run the country, the President gets the blame when things go wrong. Just my opinion.

By respectable, I mean that it is less than some and more than most To be fair, I did have to go thru some what of an apprentice program per se. The only problem is that the skills I gained thru the training do nothing for me in any other profession.

Today, I came home at noon from a long night out. I was surprised to see a woman I didn't recognize standing in my living room in a brown dress and heels. As I walked up to the door and knocked to be let in, the woman whipped around and I figured out who it was. My dad. FML

Not going to college had nothing to do with motivation. I didn't have mommy and daddy to pay my way. I went to college but paying my bills became more important than paying for college, so I didn't finish. And if I only made 35K for 9 months, I'd be pissed.

Pretty sure I know who he was talking about. The guy was on his bike, riding to KY for a funeral. His wife is preggo. Really sad.
