Got home an hour ago. 480 on the odo. Pretty sure there was an additional 100 miles or so for all the times we had to turn around for the missed turns. Got hit hard just north of Marysville. Strong winds, hail, monsoon rain, etc. Quit raining for about 15 miles and then all hell broke loose. Visibility was zero, had to slow it down to about 25. Fonz and Tyler had to stop in Arlington because of the same storm. Pending their arrival at home with a safe report, nobody went down. Well except for Ben, he went down on me a couple times.

He may be a great rider. I was just making a point about the chicken strips. Kind of a pet peeve of mine that everyone judges the rider from the strips. Hell, I saw a bikes tires that are ripped to shreds on the shoulder. They were race take offs on some squid yamaha.

Same here as I'm pretty sure the rain is going to be scattered but I'm no meteorologist. Fonz and I both have concerns about the safety of the group. Of all our rides over the last 5 years, there has only been 1 accident. We want to keep it that way.

Lack of chicken strips doesn't impress me. One of the greatest riders I have ever had the honor of riding with had chicken strips. And he could smoke ANYONE on here on any track.

C-bus gets up around 50% around lunch time. We should be out of there by then. The chance keeps increasing for a few hours and should be back down to 20% by the time we get back. Fayetteville is at 50% at it worst. Would really like to have more opinions from people. Remember, if we DO make this ride, you're coming at your own risk. Dont try to blame me, Fonz or the DTC as a whole for you wadding up your bike. "Ride your own ride" is something we swear by, ESPECIALLY in the rain.
