Does anyone know how powdercoating holds up outdoors? I am thinking of using it for a non-motorcycle aplication..

its like poaint on steriods. should do fine on any metallic surface.

preformance in newark. 40 bucks a rim was going to be thirty but he tried to take some of the factory coating off the rim an said it was gonna be a bit*h so it would be 40 a rim instead of 30. which was fine cuz Casco qutoed me at 140 almost. an now im gonna get them done for 80. an mihgt be able to get my rear sets done for free also.

anyone know who does it for cheap? getting my wheels powder coated an need to get the stock powder off the alum. wheels. im in coshocton an would really prefer not to drive super far.

i did it to both of my 675's never had any problems. just got a deeper sound!

got the paint. Designs by michelle is working on the decals. found a powder coater. just waiting on the fricken plastic to get here! im ready to get the beast back out its driving me nuts man!

im geting ready to order a set of plastics an its gonna have a solo tail to it with a brake light cut out. but on the 675 the front seat comes off an thats where ur tools go so not quite the same problem but duck tape to the underside of the seat or maybe find a way to attach some kinda small box to the inside of the fairings or the front fairings maybe

so it is totalled then cuz last i heard it was still up in the air

an to help fill the story in the corner he went down on is a corner right at the crest of a hill an it makes the front end real light as u hit the apex of the corner which causes the front to push an forces u to the outside of the corner an there is often gravel on the corner d/t ppl hitting the inside berm coming the other direction throwing into the east bound lane (seth direction of travel) bike wouldnt have been bad but it siad hello to a metal flower pot in a yard. needless to say but the bike lost that battle
