Bike's together! Took it for a spin today and it was cold but nice to be out riding

I would have loved to but I don't think my bike is fully back together. Mike was working on it today but I can't get ahold of him now. We just switched the gears and did a 520 chain conversion. Pretty simple and all I'm waiting on is a chain tool to put my master link on the bike. Frustrating and of course the weather is going to be so nice tonight! Ok. I'm r-garing my bike right now and we're waiting on a master link from Iron Pony but hopefully it won't take too long. It's downright depressing not to have a bike on these nice days!

Sorry, I just realized I never responded to you. Work on the house definitely slowed down after we moved in. It's going to be hard to stay motivated! Chris will be building an entertainment center for us. I'm pretty excited about it!

It was very nice of him to come over. I contacted my home warranty today and convinced them to send someone else out. They got us hooked up with 'emergency heat' and he's going to try to fix the rest of the problem tomorrow. It was a nippy 39 degrees in my house when we got there this morning, yikes!

I found a house I am going to make an offer on.... We're going to take a second look at it on Saturday at 11:30 but I know for sure that the carpet would need to be replaced. Would that be something that you would want to come give me an estimate for?

Cool. I'll check back with you when I actually have a place but I'm looking now so it may be soon. It's really hard for me to figure out how much I can correct and what's too big to bite off! The thing is that I would like to learn to do some of this stuff myself too, instead of just having someone come in and do it!

So I'm interested to know about your flooring expertise. Some, ok most, of the houses I look at need the carpets ripped out but I have no idea how hard or expensive it is to replace or even what my replacement options are......so can I pick your brain?
