Anyone have any experience with these? http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/product_info.php/cPath/23_61_119/products_id/831 I live an apartment and I'm worried about strays going through the walls and hitting my neighbors if I happen to miss an intruder. Just wondering if anyone has used these and how they performed.

Yes, really. What do they criticize pc's for? 1)Viruses - 90% of the time, if you get a virus on your pc, it's because you're doing something stupid (downloading torrents, pirated software, etc) 2)PC's are only for business and you can't do anything fun on them - completely ridiculous, there are just as many games for pc as there are for Mac and as far as things like video or photo editing I would imagine the same holds true. And secondly, is it really a bad thing that 95% of businesses use pc's and use the same programs in order to share data in a common file format? 3)Ease of use - if you think that using a pc is too complicated then you are either a moron or a senior citizen. Granted all of this is from a usability standpoint, networking may be another issue, but I don't know much about it so I won't comment.

Ehh I have mixed feelings about the whole Mac/Pc thing. I'd like a Mac because they are reliable and a quality product but the price point is too high for my taste. Their commercials annoy the shit out of me because I get tired of hearing them bash pc's for flaws that really don't exist anymore. As far as the new iPhone os...I won't get excited until they can jailbreak it.

The quality of the panel might be fine but if the electronics burn up you won't be able to watch anything. And then you'll have to deal with LG's stellar customer service since you won't be able to return the tv to where you bought it to have it serviced. At any rate that's just my $.02. Either way, $650 for a 50" is a pretty good deal.

I would agree that there isn't much difference between 720 and 1080 to most viewers. I've seen plenty of 50" plus 720 sets that look fine. As far as the quality is concerned, LG is better than Vizio or Westinghouse but I certainly put it in the same category as Panasonic or Samsung as far as quality is concerned.

Sucks that I work mostly nights. I'm off Wednesdays, Saturday nights and Sundays but I usually have stuff going on on Saturdays. If you guys do this again on a Wednesday or Sunday I'll be there.
