  1. if you want longevity get the pilot roads they are plenty sticky for the street and occasional track day...very occasional.. if you want performance go with the regular pilot power or the M3 the 2cts tend to get greasy during hot track days.

    and yes the center of the regulars and the 2cts are the same.. i already asked that at another forum..

  2. 190's arent designed for a 5.5 inch wheel.. they are design for a 6. so it actually pinches the tire and forces it to have a different profile that its suppose to. it will cause your bike to fall in to turns but with the additional curvature it will give you a bigger foot print while leaned over.. so far all ive heard is its not too good of and idea.. plus you have to adjust your rear height for it because it jacks it up.. literally sits higher.. id say stay 180 and get a sticky tire.. and your suspension set up by a professional or get a race tech rebuild or if you really want to spend money ohlins..

  3. if you are really going to get into racing that quickly you will soon find that it takes too much effort to go back and forth between racing and street and will just leave it in racing form..especially if you are racing everyweekend, or doing a lot of trackdays... and all your time during the week wil be preping for the next race.. no time to really ride. save your money till you decide to race and just make sure you have framesliders or race rails, including fork and swingarm, and tail. this will keep your bike from getting torn up too bad when you crash.. yes when .. and racing is extremely expensive

  4. Yeah, those were at the cleveland expo in january by the kawasaki booth for the zx-14. Wait till you see the price tag on them. $4000+ !! I'd rock carbon BST wheels long before that.

    not on the street though cause carbon is strong but not impact resistant stong .. one pot hole and your f'd hard as is your bike because your going down... id rather get magnesium wheels...
