  6. Yeah, the earth was created shortly after the invention of the plow, thank god, he came up with some stuff for us to plow with our new invention...earth I think it's more of an attempt to "appeal to the crowd" as jrm suggested... Unless you also think obama is a muslim... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMUgNg7aD8M

    shit!

my options: patch and ride, buy a front in 2 weeks, orrr.... park the bike for a month and 1/2 and wait til I can afford 2 tires... may not be the smartest thing I've ever done IYO, but in this case I feel the benefits outweigh the risk. patched up and ready to rock.
  9. Right, cause NOBODY ever joins the police force if they've had prior track experience.

    shit!

why didn't anyone tell me motorcycle tires were SOO easy to rim and de-rim... car tires are a PITA, with a bumper jack and a truck, 2 giant pry bars, and a TON of elbow grease, but my bike tire just took 2 flat scrwdrivers, and a little tire bead breaker tool.

    shit!

appreciate the offer, but I'm just gonna get a new one in 2 weeks.

    shit!

had a valve stem break...Couldn't figure out why i had NO response from the bars, when i would push, all i got was a TON of head shake, no steering.realized it was the front tire, not fun, but not catastrophic.

    shit!

got it out... Now I gotta break the tire down and get the patch in there.

    shit!

one can cause the other in this case zach. I do a lot of commuting, and straight runs with my bike. If the plug were to fail, and my tire started to lose air during one of my longer runs, the low pressure could cause the tire to flex more and more. I might notice, I might not, the increased heat could then potentially cause a blowout.

    shit!

yeah, don't have money for a new tire, and if I did, it would be a new front tire (it's got about 12k on it now) I'm planning on buying a tire patch and doing it myself (more contact area than a plug), hopefully that little bit of rubber won't phuck up the balance too bad, i think i can get to it without moving the rim in relation to the tire.
  16. I went to a double feature last night, iron man 1, then iron man 2, back to back... good way to blow 5 hours
