  1. correct, but you're talking about a situation where someone was t-boned at 90 degrees in a small car with a bike moving at triples, it's a rare oocassion. The doors of the car are not as well reinforced for damage as the rear or front is (especially in one that small). MORE often you will see the bike hitting the front fender, rear bumper, or front bumper. In these cases, the damage to the passengers is IDENTICAL to what it would have been in any other scenario, (focus at 35, hummer at 20, or semi at a crawl the accident you portrayed just doesn't happen often (that's why you find them on "weird pictures.com") see? weird shit
  2. sure there is some argument there, if you're pinpointing a passenger with your front wheel, you might have some deeper penetration, if you can apply more force to the victim than the vehicle, otherwise the G forces are the same. (so unless that wheel/frame/triple actually hit someone, it didn't matter, their trauma was identical) (also the damage to that little car looks pretty similar to what I did to a GTI with my Eldorado at 45)
  3. Gotta agree with redrocket more than todd in this case...(srry) "right and wrong" have NOTHING to do with "legal and illegal" there are things that are wrong, that are perfectly legal, and there are things that hurt nobody, and are illegal. That being said, I see nothing wrong with speeding on a sport bike, illegal or not, ? I've already posted my momentum table, and on a 500 lb sport bike, you're not doing any more damage to anyone at triple digits than a ford focus at 35, and you get into bigger vehicles, f150, explorer, hummer, forget about it. The only person you're "endangering" is yourself. Was the OP stupid for attempting to run? yes, not to mention he did a piss poor job of it, considering the circumstances. There is a time and a place for hitting the throttle, pushing your limits, and seeing what you can do. For many of you it's a track, but for some, that's not an option. They make do with what they got.
  4. one of our resident tire ppl probably would. check with hoblic or justin or yota.
  5. pipes, triple, and pegs need done...
  6. Its like murder, but more robust... pretty cool.
  7. Yeah, right? Did you say "ahh screw shifting, i'll just leave it in 6th and take an aeon to get to speed"?
  8. Also, how did you accelerate? Kick off like a razr scooter? There is nfw a police cruiser accelerates as fast as a 14 unless you REALLY have no f*cking idea how to accelerate.

  10. So let me get this straight, you attempted to run, from a police cruiser, at night, in the dark, on a zx-14, and were cought? Somebody hook this dude up with quikzx9r... he runs from choppers in broad daylight.
  11. I'm just reclaiming the tax dollars i already paid...lol
  12. holy shit! I'm unemployed, and I'm thinking "someone has too much time on their hands"
  13. I'm too far away to screw with back roads, I can barely get my lazy ass out of bed early enough to make it down there on time on the freeway.
  14. fine rosso, you want it? your wife made some pasta the other day, and I gotta say it was less than al dente, okay? and the sauce was not up to the high standards of a gourmet restaurant either; the garlic bread, a little dry. i said it, what?
  15. WOW, I was checking the site pretty regularly, but 2 pages of this showed up in a hurry. I don't think I was friends with randy moss on facebook, but I have no problems with anyone. I feel like a boring member, never starting any shit with anyone... The biggest controversy I ever started was patching a tire and being called stupid by sam for it... maybe I should ponder how to make more of an impact....

  18. no need for training wheels here...but looks nice for someone who needs 'em.
  19. For the record, I'm not one of those flat earthers, but I understand their concerns. If the earth were round, why don't you fall off when you are on the bottom?
  20. I just meant assembling them, both bikes have their forks assembled and not much else.
  21. when i'm hitting it hard from a stop it's just an attempt to get the clutch out as soon as possible without stalling, then I let the engine do it's job. (then again I'm not on a 600 either, so i have no idea how they behave)
