I stayed at the stratosphere when I was there, right at the beginning of the strip (not in the middle) and cost me $60 per night for a room with a high view of the strip(9th floor, towards the sahara). Even if you don't stay at the stratosphere, go to the top and ride the "insanity" (it was awesome at night) Treasure island seemed to be the biggest party section in vegas.

LOL, seems intelligent, now that bike is being reflected towards your un-protected body... I've never seen this, BUT at 20, i think it can easily be avoided. At this point you put your kickstand down, walk over to the open door, and elbow the driver in the head, then slam the door, lock it, and ride away. I love lane splitting, i had fun following a cop bike through downtown LA. I know some people get nervous about getting so close to a car, but you get used to it, and realize just how well your bike can fit between things.

Filtering is not specifically addressed in ohio laws. There is a stipulation about no more than 2 motorcycles abreast, but nothing about if a bike can occupy a lane with a car. Most cops will harass you about improper passing.

The difference is that if you look mexican, (regardless of your race) and you don't have your "papers" you can now be arrested without warrant. THAT is unconstitutional. what hits this so close to home is that my niece is 1/2 mexican, and I hate the thought that she can now be harassed "legally" in this country (albeit only in one state) because of her race, and her race alone.

Thanks for the warm welcome back everyone, still no time for a full write up, but for the time being I would like to give an initial review of the Pirelli Angel ST. The grip was solid the whole trip, no issues. There were some weird tire grindings along the edges of the contact patch, still not sure what's up with that. Also they were NOT kidding when they said increased wet grip, I tested it at an intersection and popped a little power wheelie in the rain. (was NOT expecting that result)

Joke or not, this WILL happen at some point in the future, mark my words. Motorcycles will be banned on public roads, they will continue to operate on tracks, and by outlaws in small towns for a while, then not at all. It'll be a while, but it will happen.

there is an argument from projectiles as well. If you don't wear a seat belt, you raise your chances to become a projectile. On a motorcycle, a helmet just makes you a "harder" projectile.
