  2. So tbutera2112 hooks me up with Steve who happens to live within 1 mile from me in the same Westerville district. Small world!!. Thanks to all for your help. d
  3. I think the guys name was Steve but I loaned a pair of boots to a guy with a freshly painted yellow/black GSX 1000. My feet are getting cold walking on wet concrete:banana:. Can anyone put me in touch--I think he was driving an Escalade pulling an open bike Harbor Freight open trailer. Not a big deal but it would be nice to get boots back. Promotes the favor mentality. I left early afternoon & he was still racing after being flagged for wearing tennis shoes. Thanks for your help. D
  4. Is "Blue Ice" radiator coolant allowed at Nat'l Trails Track or does it need to be just water in the radiator?? Thanks in advance--d
  5. How to pre-register my Busa for the Nat'l Trails Apr 23??

  6. Under "Members List" scrown down to you or CBRGirl and click on the "website". Normally the photo and info on the "website link" showss the identified member being clicked.

  7. Cracker--I think you broke the shell and linked my face all over the place including your website. My Busa is in my front office--installing Innovate DL32+LC-1/XD-16 data logger for Maxton land speed run again in May. shows true A/F ratio at 200+ mph plus TP, Duty Cycle, & stuff.

Why am I linked to you-cbrgrl, etc under their website link??

  8. I think most of those Highway Patrol guys are Gay. You should have kissed him on the cheeck and patted him on the ass. I had a some queer ask me to get in his car & close the door while he writes the ticket. I had my wife and 2 kids in the Suburban with me--wtf??
  9. He should have an interesting time finding a sponsor--what kind of tennis shoes would he recommend.
  10. 193.6 mph on June 28, 2008 timing clock at Maxton, NC. Most speedo's are 5% higher than actual with a new tire. I've heard guys that crossed the timing lights say that were doing 180mph and their actual was in the 160's mph with stock sprockets. I loose my abiltiy to process all the data(bike, tach, traffic, road thrash, police) above 120--130mph. We need to make sure in our need for speed we don't hurt ourself or other people. Some car drivers make unpredictable moves when they see a fast moving bike approach. The track is cheaper than a speeding ticket--plus medic wagon is already on site.
  11. Bikes are very price competitive plus they will need a service department but that might generate some business installing accessories.

  13. $160 for 101mph sounds very fair to me. I was talking to a friend in Fl. New law allows them to confiscate the bike plus jail time for similar speeds. He thought most would run since stopping forfeited the bike + jail. Last fall HP popped a guy doing 135mph out of Lancaster(I think). He was ready for the handcuffs but just recieved similar $160 ticket. Ohio currently doesn't have extreme high speed $ tickets unless other vehicles are at risk--ie R/O
  14. No cigar for Darrell—bike ran poorly:beathorse:—98 degree heat—suspension wobble above 140 mph , transmission false neutral shifts, air shifter blew line, instrument panel went dead –blown fuse, nitrous fuel-air mixture was bad. One run was 193.6 mph which was 3.4 mph faster than my last top speed. I’m buying a data logger monitor tune at the track versus dyno. The Army Special Forces high altitude low opening jump team had their big twin prop messing up the 65 yr old runway--pot holes everywhere. I'm moving the 2lb nitrous from the tail hump to the side mount adding gauges to monitor bottle pressure eliminate tube posiitioning issues. 98 degree heat--add a heavy Joe Rocket one piece with back slider/boots/Shoei face shield latch helmet=probably 120+ degrees suited up. Only spent $450:broke: in gas pulling small bike trailer via 2008 Denali. Returning in late Sept/Oct determined to pass the 200 mph mark. I had the HP to top 210mph but the pieces didn't fit together. I need hot bodied umbrella girl to take my mind off the heat stroke:-) PS: Preferably one with poor eyesight that thinks aged beef is great:guitar:.
  15. I have no idea how she fell off the bike but there is a major difference between sitting in the riders seat and sitting on the back and also the state of mind when panic is induced into the formula--especially between seasoned riders and rookies--just saying--not judging--that looked like one painful disfiguring long term injury.
  16. I have had my visor fly open and unhook on the right side flapping in the wind--my prescription sunglasses flew up into the top of my helmet and my helmet twist to the rear at the same time(helmet strap was not tightly secured) and I crossed the the end of the 1/4 mile line completely blinded by the wind force==tapped front/rear brakes which locked up from greasy shutdown area--bike slid sideways each direction & somehow stayed up until my vision returned. That was the 1st & only time but it did happen and if it can happen to me it can happen to anyone else.

    Ride 6/15/08

I can see this is truly "Freedom Day" for a few of you. I'll have to go tell Rocco--my dog about all this rejoicing. O'Yeah--divorced last year after 22 yrs of bliss.
  19. That 19 minutes to start the Harley:beathorse:
  20. Lots of variables--especially weather--atmosp pressure-side winds a kick--my 4th trip--lots of new riders shifting into 7th gear--been there myself:-) I'll be lighting the N2O in 5-6th gear depending~~. 4 guys have hit above 250 mph mark--clocked by timing light 132' apart. Whole race is only 132 ft. clock starts at the 1st light and stops at the 2nd 132 ft later.
  21. That's 19 minutes to get the Harley started:-)
  22. All my friends grew up and dealt with maturity gracefully but I was sick on the day they held that class. I've been riding for 8 years on 6 bikes currently a 2003 black cherry HD Deuce and a 2006 Busa with a few engine mods. Just installed throttle body ported N2O for a Maxton, NC land speed run this June 28-29th. Last Sept 23rd I hit 190.25mph in the standing start mile dyno'd at 184.7 rwhp. This time I have 240 rwhp-130lb torque & plan on hitting 210mph:bow: using a 37 rear sprocket if all goes well & I don't wussie out:eek:. I need people to join the ecta-lsr.com as it's a long 600 mile ride each way pulling a bike trailer.
