nope I've been involved with small construction companies my whole career, I've seen first hand where minority companies get bids solely because they are minority owned, and even though the company I was working for was a lower bidder, because we didn't have a majority of minority workers we were denied... time and time again.. it wasn't that we did shoddy work or came in during the job with overages... we didn't have enough minorities working with us, not because we didn't want them, but because every one we hired didn't work out due to issues ranging from attendance to incompetance. Hell i went thru union classes with minority guys that bragged about the fact that they wouldn't get fired because they were MINORITY union workers!! If I didn't show up on time every time I was OUT the freaking DOOR!!

hey I am a white male construction worker... I'm getting the SHAFT right now... if I was something else I'd be getting the hand outs.. hell there are companies in columbus that get preferential treatment because they are "minority" owned/staffed companies.... they get breaks for JUST that reason alone!! not because they can get the job done faster or better! hell in most instances they are usually a HIGHER bidder then the other companies!! AND they get tax advantages too!!! so don't sit there and preach to me about equality and fairness... IT'S LOPSIDED and there's no freaking excuse!

you can ride behind me or in front.... I'll be riding with you, not trying to push or pull ya.... I try to match speeds with the last person in the group. and I'm down with doing a group ride with any of you that can deal with me being the sweeper, hell I'll even carry waters and extra gear for people. i definitely have the bags for it....

as far as gear goes I have 2 textile jackets, 1 mesh for warmer riding from Nitro it 's nice and has removable armor, and the other is for colder weather it's a M2R it's rain and wind proofed. I also have leather chaps and a leather vest for added cool factor...lol In the summer I prefer to wear my half helmet with panoptix riding glasses or goggles, and when the weather turns I wear a convertable helmet from vega. I wear Harley boots and always have some sort of glove on whether fingerless or full glove... Those bugs hurt the fingers at 75 mph...

I went down to the triple nickle with a group of 10 or so people from the board last season, and I admit that I had some trouble keeping up but no one ever gave me a hard time about slowing the group up... I brought up the rear every time I went out... which I don't really mind being last, but I feel bad holding the ride up, but to the point. You don't have to worry about this no one on here will ever give you crap or leave you behind on a group ride... the rule is we all leave together and come back the same way...
