if you really aren't concerned with ever putting the cables back on you can just cut the cable and pull half of them from the tail and the other half from behind the lower fairing. that way you don't have to prop up the tank.

i removed mine with the help of shittygsxr and then removed it from spookr6's gsxr 600 too. doesn't take very long at all to do. -
