It took Icon six years to update the Airframe helmet, and they left no stone unturned when it came to its successor, the Airframe Pro. Just when we thought things couldn't get any better, Icon created the aggressive-looking Airframe Pro Ghost Carbon version. As Icon puts it, the Airframe Pro is "Angled for Attack." The Airframe Pro Ghost Carbon Helmet is constructed of lightweight and durable carbon fiber. The carbon fiber shell is handmade and has a rubberized finish. Weighing only 3 lb 3 oz, the carbon helmet is even lighter than the original Airframe Pro. The ventilation system built into this helmet is better than its predecessor. It features vents on the jawline and chin, upgraded temple vents that reduce noise, two rear vents, and one horizontal vent in the back. The rear wing works with the rear vents to make the helmet more aerodynamic and reduce lifting in the tuck riding position. Perhaps the most impressive part of the Airframe Pro is the interior. Unlike any other helmet in the industry, this helmet has a five piece comfort liner that is completely customizable. The snaps that hold in each piece were designed to eliminate pressure points. The pads are made with Icon's Hydradry, a moisture wicking material that allows air to flow through the helmet. You can customize the Airframe Pro with Icon's Pro Liner Sets, sold separately. This helmet is equipped with Icon's Prolock Positive Shield Locking System. It comes with a Fog-Free Icon Optics Shield with Rapid-Release System, as well as Dark Smoke Icon Optics Tracshield with Tear-Off Posts.
