  1. Ask any club racer and trackday enthusiast what their preferred brake pad is and the chances are good they'll say its Vesrah. Available from Riders Discount, Vesrah offers three to four different pad options (dependent on bike) with affordable pricing to fit into any budget and skill level. Many RD staffers have cut their teeth on Vesrah pads because they offer consistent feel and a long life in all racing conditions. Aside from their proprietary sintered metal compound, which resists brake fade, the friction material itself is backed by a metal plate that’s harder than those used in OEM pads for a more even pressure across the pad/rotor interface. This not only contributes to greater brake performance with less effort at the lever, but it also ensures even brake pad wear and consequently, longer brake life. All Vesrah pads exceed OEM brake pads in terms of braking power across the high-performance envelope. And, although Vesrah brake pads require minimal bed-in, for users switching brands, we recommend sanding both sides of your bike’s brake rotors to remove previous brake material for maximum braking performance. Vesrah Brake Pads are available for most late model sportbikes. For more information, call MIKE at 866.931.6644 x 804 or send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! Vesrah now offers three different sintered metal brake pad compounds to serve a whole spectrum of riders and racers, depending on their needs: RJL, Super RJL and Super RJL XX as detailed below. Vesrah RJL Brake Pads, the original go-to brake pads for the club racer. Developed specifically for high-performance work, Vesrah RJL pads offer a good initial bite with a flat friction coefficient which makes them very predictable when you grab the brakes. Vesrah Super RJL brake pads deliver a very strong initial bite, more than RJL pads - with an even higher friction coefficient which makes them very responsive to lever modulation. If you want the strongest initial bite and lots of braking power, this is the pad for you. Vesrah Super RJL XX brake pads are the latest offering from Vesrah. These pads provide even more power than the Super RJLs, but without the big initial bite. They’re ultra responsive too where miniscule changes in pressure at the lever will be felt. If you demand ultimate stopping power, choose Vesrah Super RJL XX pads.
  2. Upgrading your brake pads can make a huge difference over your stock pads. With all the options for brake pads available on the market today, it can be confusing what the proper pad is for you and your riding style. Whether it's street, track, or full race, Riders Discount has an option for you with Carbone Lorraine brake pads! These are not yet listed on the website, but you can place your order with MIKE by giving him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! Carbone Lorraine is one of the more popular brands on the market today used by anyone and everyone from top level racers to your everyday street rider. Carbone Lorraine has basically 3-4 different compounds available for regular street bikes. Your top level pad used for heavy track duty and racing is the C60 pad. Next would be the XBK5 which is perfect for the canyon riders and intermediate level track riders. Last up, if you're just looking for OE replacement pads, Carbone Lorraine offers the A3+ pads. Rear pads are also available in the RX3 model. The C60 and XBK5 track level pads have a very similar braking characteristic for lighter riding, but the difference comes when you really are pushing the edge of your braking capabilities. The C60 shines through providing consistent performance and feedback maintaining a higher friction point than the XBK5. However, the XBK5 does provide a slightly higher initial bite if that's a braking characteristic you prefer. Brake pads from Carbone Lorraine are bike model specific, let us know what bike you have and what kind of riding you do and we'll help you out!
  3. LighTech Brake Lever Guards shield your motorcycle’s front brake lever and prevent accidental brake engagement. LighTech Carbon Fiber Brake Lever Guard - MSRP $214.10 The carbon fiber brake lever guard, C-Tech, is cured in an autoclave to ensure maximum strength. It is 132 mm long and features an anodized aluminum guard tip. LighTech Aluminum Brake Lever Guard - MSRP $157.10 The aluminum brake lever guard is made from a solid block of billet aluminum and is 153 mm long. Note: the LighTech Lever Guard Adapters are sold separately. There are more than 10 specific adapters available for installation on OEM handlebars.
