Long story behind this but here goes. I had an iPad Retina and had planned on getting the retina mini when it was released. Then my iPad got stolen three months ago so as a stopgap until the mini retina was released, I bought this one. Yesterday I got the retina mini so I'm selling this. Because I knew I would be selling this, I kept it in pristine condition. It was in a case with a cover for the entire time. I never even took off the plastic from the cord and plug since I had the stuff from the one that was stolen and my iPhone. There's not a single mark or blemish on it. I even packed it in the original plastic although I couldn't keep a bit of dust out . New these are $400 and you can find these refurbished for $330 on Apple's site but you have to pay taxes and shipping. Ebay they are $325+. I bought this at the beginning of the year to replace my aging iPad Mini but when the iPad Pro's came out in March, I really wanted the functionality of the stylus (Apple pencil) so after waiting a bit, I picked one up this week. I bought this as an Apple certified refurbished unit directly from Apple. For those not familiar with refurbished units, they are exactly the same as the new models with slightly different packaging. To me they are better than new because new units don't always get the full gamut of quality testing while refurbs are more rigorously tested before being sold. Currently, this unit as a refurb is selling for $419 New units are $499. I had a cover and a skin on it since I bought it. I has absolutely no marks, scratches, etc on it anywhere that I could find - screen, back, sides (anything you see in the pics is dust). I take good care of my stuff and I haven't had it that long! It comes with the original packaging and the charger / cable have not even been removed from the wraps they came in (I have others). It basically looks like a new iPad. You won't find a better used one. I'm asking $350 shipped to CONUS - firm. This includes a black Apple smart cover (not pictured - a $39 value). So, save almost $110 off a new refurb with cover. Not looking for trades.
