It was a complete blast. Parking lot racing around barrels. Amazing time. We had a nice big area that was fenced in for our racing and camping. Camping was at no extra charge. A huge saving if you have a motor home or RV. It was just above the paddock so very central location. Our stock XR/CRF100 class is still the most popular drawing 10-20 riders per event for both novice and expert classes. The Groms are showing up more and more and should get their own class soon. We will be keeping the CC limit stock but other mods allowed. Any Grom owners should show up and race or just hang out. I'll be taking a break this year to let some others pull the #2 plates. I'll be doing some rider coaching and helping the program run smoothly. For those who haven't been with us for a year or so, we have started paying corner workers. An easy way to make $50 cash for the partial day. It also helps the races progress much more quickly. You can now focus on your race instead of working. Any questions should be directed to ohiominiroadracingleague@gmail.com. Thanks! Chris "Biggie" Wallace
  2. Long story behind this but here goes. I had an iPad Retina and had planned on getting the retina mini when it was released. Then my iPad got stolen three months ago so as a stopgap until the mini retina was released, I bought this one. Yesterday I got the retina mini so I'm selling this. Because I knew I would be selling this, I kept it in pristine condition. It was in a case with a cover for the entire time. I never even took off the plastic from the cord and plug since I had the stuff from the one that was stolen and my iPhone. There's not a single mark or blemish on it. I even packed it in the original plastic although I couldn't keep a bit of dust out . New these are $400 and you can find these refurbished for $330 on Apple's site but you have to pay taxes and shipping. Ebay they are $325+. SOLD. iPad Mini Black 32GB WiFi only (not a retina) Model# MD529LL/A You won't find a another used iPad mini in better shape! I tried to take pics that showed the unblemished screen and back.
  3. I know it's sort of late notice, but OMRL is running at PIRC this weekend, June 13 & 14. If you've never been on the kart track, it's very nice, and has some fun elevation changes. Saturday is an UNOFFICIAL practice day that the track is running. We will be sharing the track with rental karts, but there should be enough bikes for us to get 30-40 minutes per hour. Cost is $50 (or at least it was last year) and starts at noon. We'll stop when they make us (6:00 or 7:00), so there should be PLENTY of riding time available. Rental bikes are available for $50 + $25 crash deposit. Don't crash and your $25 is refunded. inquire at ohiominiroadracingleague@gmail.com Racing on Sunday is $65 for the first class and $15 for subsequent. We'll run qualifying in the morning to determine afternoon grids. It is only 1 heat per class due to the time qualifying takes, but it's a longer track than CRP, so 10 laps is more track time (my best at CRP is :56.x, my best at PIRC last year was 1:15.x) Even if you don't ride, it is a great spectator facility, and they'll have exotic cars on the North track through 'extreme experience' or something. I wouldn't spend $300 on a few paced laps, but it is pretty badass to hear a McLaren and a Lambo ripping down the front straight without very little other engine noise to distort its song. stop by my blue "www.OnlinePaddock.com" canopy and say hi. We should have plenty of shade, water, and probably beers after we're doing riding for the day.
