  1. Sato Racing rearsets are premium components for the most discerning of motorcycle riders. The fit and finish of every piece is immaculate with absolutely no rough edges anywhere, few tooling marks and an overall logical layout. Parts are sculpted from high-quality, lightweight aluminum alloys that are then anodized in your choice of clear, black, or gold for a corrosion and scratch resistant finish. Stainless steel hardware is included with every kit that’s strong enough for racing and trackday use and most models also include a brake light activation switch for street use. Pictured for ZX-10R 2011-2014 which has an MSRP of $575.00 available from Riders Discount. Pictured for ZX-10R 2011-2014 Available for most late model sportbikes, Sato rearsets offer a wide range of adjustability with foot pegs that can be moved back, forward or up for most applications. Many rearset kits also include adjustable toe pegs and allow the user to fine tune shift and brake lever throw ratios to dial in a very precise feel. Furthermore, double-miniature ball bearings are used for the shift and brake levers for superb lever action. Sato Racing parts are not yet available on our website – for more information, contact MIKE at 866.931.6644 ext 804. You can also email us with any questions you have – send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away. Footpegs are easily adjustable by changing their position within a set of slots on the rearset bracket. All Sato footpegs have a knurled finish. Also notice the outermost part of the peg is beveled to increase crash survivability. Instead of losing the entire peg, the tip will likely break off, leaving you with plenty of room to continue riding safely.
  2. Vortex is not the kind of brand that puts out a product and ignores feedback from their customers. They have had adjustable rearsets on the market for over ten years, and the design has been constantly evolving ever since. The current iteration is the result of years of race experience and feedback at both the professional and amateur levels. This feedback led to a set of rearsets that, while built to be track ready, are perfectly suited for the road as well. Vortex Adjustable Rearsets are machined from sturdy and lightweight aluminum before being given their anodized finish. They are shown here for the Yamaha R1. Two 3x3 grids of mounting points allow you to adjust them to your liking. This closeup gives you a better look at the quality machine work and the mounting points that provide the adjustability. They feature folding toe pegs that can be mounted in two ways to accommodate different foot sizes. The one shown on the left in this photo is closer to the rear and the right is further forward. The footpegs provide lots of grip without destroying your boots. They also have a recessed breaking point towards the end that is designed to give way in the event of a crash. This leaves you with a useable amount of peg if the bike is still rideable.
