cmh_sprint
I'm planning a trip for the Mrs. and I to Chicago. I usually book directly with the hotel but thought I'd try to save some cash this time. I've never used Hotwire or Priceline. What type or rooms do you get? I figured out the hotel I am looking at in the Conrad. I just want to make sure I don't get a room with 2 double beds or some shit and mess up the weekend. Thanks for the help. jblosser
one bed for you-know-what, one for sleeping...never used either service before, so can't help with firsthand knowledge. Looking now to see if there are any gotchas.*edit: couldn't find anything at the Conrad Chicago that was not a king bed. Online rates directly were $275+/night, checking in Friday and leaving Sunday. jblosser
i found the whole "we won't show you the name of the hotel or its exact location until after you book the room" shtick annoying as h3ll and quit trying. This was at hotwire.
