Casper
It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in: . Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent . Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent . Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)! . In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. (Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!) While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.Full article

walther_gsp
Sometimes it does. In fact, I'd say that my new Galco OWB holster controls it quite nicely while riding.

VMX12C
Gun control just means how you hold the gun.You show me a law, I'll show you someone who's breaking it.If they take all the guns away from the honest citizen, who will have guns? Criminals. They don't care anyway. Don't create new laws, enforce the ones on the books.
walther_gsp
I have a IWB that I carry my G27 in everywhere I goMy normal carry for the G36 is IWB, but it just doesn't feel as secure as the OWB with thumbbreak while I'm on the bike. My first real test of the new rig was the ride down for dyno day, and the comfort was way up with it as well as peace of mind.
r1crusher
I'm not sure if I can get away with my OWB for the PT-145 while riding the bike. I would have to adjust the waist to make it work and then I'd feel like the jacket wouldn't give me the proper protection in an accident. I was thinking a should rig would not force me to change my waist. But I've not found a "cheap" one I like yet.

I use it all the time. On the bike it feels better than something on the waist. It seemed like they had plenty of them in stock on their ebay "store". You can now use your CCW permit to CCW while in/on a motorvehicle.

fusion
thats great. i didnt know!! now if they will only get rid of the damn anti weapon guns on every building we would be set Yeah wouldn't want a privately owned business or an individual to be able to tell you that you can't bring a weapon in their building or on their property. kawi kid
any one with a cc license has been throughly background checked and is a complete law abiding citizen. it not like you can just go to a class and any jackass with a list of violations as long as my arm can get a premit to carry a gun. i do own a privately owned buisness and welcome anyone in with a gun because i know that when my secretary is sitting in there with a full money drawer there is less likely to be trouble if someone robbing the place thinks that there is a chance of another gun being in there other than his own. dont get me wrong i dont want it to be like the wild west or anything, i want responsible law abiders to be able to use their freedoms set by the second amendment. Otherwise you would be taking freedoms away. Just like the first amendment doesn't apply to this site. Ben could censor speech all day here if he wanted to and be well within his rights. It's not a thorough background check, it's cursory. Full background checks are expensive. Not having gotten arrested does not equal mentally stable or law abiding...just means you haven't been caught.Unfortunately the 2nd Amendment isn't as clear as it needs to be. Of course there's no way for Madison to have known just how many interpretations there could be to his writings. For what it's worth I'm actually thinking of getting a CCW myself since it's available, have owned wepaons in the past and was around them constantly growing up. Disclaimer
Dude... I don't even know how to classify that. Is it gun porn? Gay porn? Nerd porn (see the Rock band guitars in the background)? The only way I classify it, is hilariously gross. I yanked it off of digg.com, and thought it would make a wonderful addition to this thread.
