I use a carabiner hooked on structure near the tank, where it can swing out for the helmet strap. It's so tight to the side of the tank you can't get the helmet off without removing the seat. And a lightweight cable with a seperate lock for running through the sleeves of a jacket and locking to the forks/triple. All fits under the seat.
