So dumb. I think this was last year news, at least online chekc in was. Part of the traditions were to load up and head to the check station to BS. As if there isn't enough poaching anyway. I'm starting to think ODNR is getting a little greedy and focusing on money vs. managing.

I've never hunted deer so I have no idea if this would be a + or -. It showed up in my news feed and since I know we have some hunters, I thought I'd pass it along.

This 100%!!

Just like only one $15 antlerless tag per county this year. The only thing that shows me is they want their money, does absolutely nothing for population control.

Guys this is just another option. If you want to go to a check in station, DO IT. I however am glad that I dont have to go somewhere as it saves me time and money.

Problem is, most places quit doing check ins when this happened. The local hardware quit because it was costing them$ every year for the equipment and no profit on it.
