Gump
Zip tie tire treads. These are pretty slick. Even with 4x4 sometimes you need more traction. You could put them on almost anything.Actually, there other idea of zip ties with a piece of chain is even better. Its reusable and cheaper. You could make it on your own.Www.zipgripgo.com Edited November 8, 2013 by Gump
zx3vfr
Umm. Ya. I really don't think any super industrial military strength cable tie is going to hold up past 3 mph of wheel spin.
ReconRat
It does say that the all nylon device is intended only to get to the nearest plowed road. It didn't say that for the half zip half chain.Nylon has the tensile strength, but not the abrasion resistance.
Gump
Ya. These are obviously for getting unstuck. Not driving around on.
Kmanlyst
It does say it for the chains as well but they are reusable with new ties."The chain traction device installs in minutes and the chains can be used repeatedly by reloading them with replacement ties. Designed for short distances and at low speeds to get drivers safely out of an emergency situation."
