motociclista
Saw this R6 on Ebay. Thought someone here might need a track day bike. Sounds like it's probably fast. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Other-YAMAHA-R6-Sam-Lowes-Yakhnich-Motorsport-SUPERSPORT-BIKE-/121251442012?forcerrptr=true&hash=item1c3b262d5c&item=121251442012&pt=US_motorcycles
turnone
And that's just the starting bid. I am 99.999999999999% sure this won't sell. Anyone who is going to spend over $50K is going to have something built for them IMO.
owndjoo
but it's Sam Lowes' World Championship bike!!! lol. seriously though, you couldn't build that bike for the $$$. The thing is, if he becomes, say, a future motoGP star, the value of that bike could soar... but it's definitely more of a conversation piece than anything else. redkow97
Did you guys miss Johnny Rock Page's old R1/M1 for sale? It's the bike Johnny Rock Page won the "Daytona 200 world championship on."
flounder
The shocks in the rider photos arent the same as the pics of the bike on the stand. Gold vs black.
vf1000ride
The shocks in the rider photos arent the same as the pics of the bike on the stand. Gold vs black. There are several differences in the bike he is riding and bike in the static pictures. On top of the front forks you also have the front fender painted different, the lower side fairings are painted different. It looks like the carbon fiber cover has fallen off the rear swingarm and is just resting there, it also has a different sticker placement on the swingarm cover from the ridden bike. Body panels on the ridden bike are held together with screws, static bike is 1/4 turn dzus fasteners. Even if I had the money I would walk away without seeing the bike in person first.
