New from Alpinstars’ RideOut collection is the Alpinestars Scion 2L Waterproof Jacket available today from Riders Discount.  The RideOut collection, aimed for riding in the city or casual trail riding, is the perfect example of fusing form and function.  Featuring a two-layer, dual bonded construction with RipStop technology, the Scion 2L is both waterproof and breathable.  Add the CE certified protection and the Scion 2L is as versatile as it is practical. 

 

 

 

The hood is completely removable and secured via velcro at the back of the neck and front collar. 

 

 

From the outside this appears to be a light spring jacket, but the removable CE armor in the shoulders and elbows keep you protected while looking great. 

 

 

Comes with a foam back pad, we highly recommend replacing this with the Alpinestars Bioarmor Back Protector Insert, or the Alpinestars Bionic Air Back Protector Insert. 

 

Ripstop nylon is a light-weight reinforced nylon fabric used in sails, parachutes, hot air balloons, that is woven with coarse, strong warp and 

filling yarns to prevent tearing.  Tape sealed seams guarantee weather-proofing.

 

 

Available in black/red, green/yellow, grey/fl. yellow (pictured), and orange/fl. yellow in sizes ranging from small to 4XL.  We've found the fit to be true to size.
