Is he trying to make the point that Manufacturers have done long-term harm to motorcycling by delivering American consumers what they want? This is a claim that generally trips my bullshit detector: do journalists with no skin in the game really have a better grasp of the market than the firms who are making $100M investments? I do agree that Ducati is a bright spot in the industry. They currently have at least 5 models I would love to own. The current panagale in white is the best looking sportbike ever made, full stop.
