redkow97 Posted October 16, 2014 Report Share Posted October 16, 2014 I watched "doomsday preppers" the other night, and the first family they feature has a castle-style compound made of shipping containers. They were pretty extreme, but I have to admit they were legitimately prepared (rather than just fanatical). The only criticism from the 'experts' was that their 8-year food supply was all in one location, meaning they're completely without food if that structure should be taken by hostiles.
