Installing a key switch elimination harness from Woodcraft removes that worry and allows you to go keyless with your bike. Made exclusively for race/track bikes, this harness is for the rider who isn't comfortable messing around with their bike's wiring or someone who wants a clean plug-n-play design. Installation is easy once you get the key switch removed from the triple clamp. Instructions are included but you essentially plug this into your key switch plug and the OE run/stop switch. There is no splicing or cutting to your stock harness. Retails at $45.99 Removing the key switch harness frees up some valuable space behind your top triple clamp allowing you to install steering dampers, lap timers, or GPS units. For track/race bikes only. We do not recommend installing this on a street bike. Ask about adding a keyless gas cap to your order to go completely keyless and totally eliminate the need for a key!
