330racing
For anyone looking to get a little more protection than regular jeans, I highly recommend these! These look very similar to non-riding jeans with no extra external stitching, are soft and comfortable but more abrasion resistant than plain denim (they are cordura), and have useful armor pockets. There is a large coverage area of Kevlar.I bought the optional sas-tec hip and knee armor and it is very comfortable. They fit like relaxed jeans, not too baggy and not skinny jeans....very comfortable.Quality is also very good. I've had many pairs of Kevlar jeans and these are my new favorites.9/10 Edited April 23, 2015 by 330racing
mojocho
Thanks for the review. I've been looking at these. How is the fit/sizing versus regular jeans?
330racing
I'd say slightly larger at waist and and inch longer at inseam...pretty close
330racing
Report after a couple hundred miles riding in them: -They are still extremely soft and comfortable. -The armor, like in most other riding jeans, is useless. Knee armor is especially useless, but I took out the hip armor too. My search continues for riding jeans that the armor is useful.
zx3vfr
I just got some scorpion mesh over pants. Not to bad. Better than jeans and its really a mesh textile hybrid. Don't do much in the way of keeping you warm but will be nice during summer to throw over a pair of shorts.
