Helmutt Posted July 18, 2016 Report Share Posted July 18, 2016 Rossi's team knew the laptime split between Marquez vs riders on rains, but Rossi wouldn't have. He saw them post BOX on his pit board, but it's ultimately up to him and was likely pushing for more position before pitting in. Maybe they should've posted "Rains +7" so he'd known the difference? Definitely some communication breakdown. Marquez team gambled a good game, and Lorenzo just couldn't get it together at all this weekend. Rain always makes the racing interesting, especially when the track dries out and the crews play a more integral part during the race.
