motocat12
Any drawbacks to these? All brands the same? I've had one for 2 years but am shopping for a new lid. seems to be less strap to flap around when the excess isn't snapped. I also added a grommet to hook on an underseat D-ring "lock". I did get a helmet with narrower than average d rings once. damn that made them harder to fiddle with. Would also be nice if engineers listed helmet viewing angles instead of marketing drivel specs as I realized after I bought one how much smaller it was than my old one. 2talltim
I loved the ratcheting strap on my Nolan unfortunately when I went to the Shoei I lost that. So I went with the Echo quick release latch and like it for the most part. It can be a little difficult with thick gloves on but far easier than the D rings. Also I put a zip tie through the d rings to keep them from rattling tohether.
