Ok so i have a hp laptop with windows 7. I dont download random files and what not. Just use it to do online training watch youtube and surf other forums.

The cpu usage is at or nearly 100% all the time and i dont have the knowhow to dive in look at hidden folders files or what should or shouldn't be.

Dont think it would be to involved to figure out but then again i dont mess with these damn pardora boxes.

So can anyone hook a fellow rider out?

You're looking at task manager for the 100%? is show processes for all users checked?

sometimes you can kill (right click) explorer, then File>run new task>explorer   to flush whatever's hanging it.

Does it go down when wireless is turned off?  Antivirus running? try disabling it while wireless is off

Download malwarebytes, it's free. Run it and it should help.

I am always leary of downloading malware/spyware stuff.  I have heard mixed things about doing that. But hell its worth a shot.

If you aren't running RAID, a PCIE drive or using Rapid Storage Technology then don't worry about it. If you don't know what those are, you aren't using them.

I would just disable it from starting up at boot so you don't have to worry about it - here's how - http://www.howtogeek.com/74523/how-to-disable-startup-programs-in-windows/
