Guest Crankshaft
<font color ="midnightblue"> I went Wednesday night with my dad. It was pretty good, though not nearly as good as I expect the Detroit show was (didn't go, just guessing). I'd put it a notch or two above the Columbus Car show. *shrug* Anyways, they had some cool cars there, some I'd never seen before, and as always, the mods. I took about 200 pictures, but here's an abbreviated version. Enjoy. http://img157.exs.cx/img157/9016/garrettsphotographyii0171br.jpg http://img75.exs.cx/img75/6381/garrettsphotographyii0237xs.jpg http://img75.exs.cx/img75/5962/garrettsphotographyii0312ik.jpg http://img75.exs.cx/img75/7294/garrettsphotographyii0325vs.jpg http://img75.exs.cx/img75/7294/garrettsphotographyii0325vs.th.jpg" target="_blank">http://http://www.ImageShack.us"]www.ImageShack.us" /> http://img75.exs.cx/img75/4683/garrettsphotographyii0355pb.th.jpg [ 30. Guest Crankshaft
<font color ="midnightblue"> That's it. Those are all the main ones. I posted at least one pic of every car I took a picture of (except the Chevrolet Cobalt SS). Side note- in this last section of cars, the Supra has a cut out on the hood where you can look in and see the engine. Except, it's not an engine you're looking at, but a picture of an engine. graemlins/nonono.gif
Mallard
Looks like Chrysler revived some 10 year old concepts (copperhead, Sindewinder) ME412 is pimp. 0-60 in under 3 seconds and so far they've topped 210mph in 5th gear. They haven't tried 6th or 7th gears yet.

No one puts that much effort into a show car.

Whether or not they will has yet to be decided, but it would still be pretty cool to see what comes out of it.

The car has done more then initial tests. It's going through an entire development cycle. For the last year they've been putting it through its paces and have actually reached the quoted number above of 210mph. You don't do that without a lot of development already invested in the car. Compare that to the Cadillac Cien concept, that moved under its own power, but never over ~45mph. Also, having more then one running prototype out on the test tracks is a big indicator. Guest Crankshaft
<font color ="midnightblue"> Good to hear. I didn't know it had gotten that far. In other news, someone on here told me a while ago that the new NSX was cancelled. Yet, clearly, there is a sticker with fuel economy, pricing, options, etc, on the window of the car in the show. Was ist los?? Secondly, what the heck is the little instrument gauge in the rear bumper of that concept toyota truck?
Mallard
The NSX you have pictured is the current one that's been for sale since 1991 with a few minor revisions. The Next Gen NSX was rumored to be the concept they showed at Detroit last year, the HSC. ( http://www.thrillinghill.com/gallery/GT4-Cars/IMGP1795edit ) Haven't heard that it was cancelled though. Adam
offtopic, what kind of performance numbers does the current nsx put down?
