  1. Yeah man, the auto skills centers were a god send when I was in the barracks. Did all of my maintenance in there and even swapped a rear diff in my buddies 4runner. That being said, for even how cheap that was, it was almost too expensive to use, especially if you're car stayed over night or for a few days. You could afford a lift after a few big projects.

Give me a PRC 150 Joe, and I will talk to anyone on the planet
  3. You: aftermarket scatter lights Me: flash my brights You: turn on your brights Me: turn on the light bar You: explodes
  4. You can find 4.0s but not mint Cherokees. Swaps are easy.
  5. I have the same year. Keep an eye on the 0331 head they are prone to cracking. http://img18124.imagevenue.com/loc877/th_80608_0_20170308_084546_122_877lo.jpg
  6. I still feel like I need an air compressor for some reason, but after getting a battery impact. I dont really see why other than airing up tires.
  7. +1 We closed on my house in under a month. It would have been a lot faster had the seller had their side as squared away as Marc had my side.
  8. Being away from the CR sphere of influence I am in need of a local to me machine shop to freshen up my 4.0 liter into a stroker. What do you all use to decide to go with a certain machinist to do your work? I am not going to ship the motor off just due to cost. If I was going to I would just stick to the XJ forums and go from their experiences. I have done the googling to see what is around and called around but now it is time to pick one and get the Jeep back up and running. I am in Columbus GEORGIA if anyone happens to know a good one by the way
  9. You all keep telling yourselves it is better in Ohio with your non snowing cold worthless winters, just muddy slush and watching your cars melt into rust.
  10. I don't know man, this new generation doesn't seem to be into as much as past generations were
  11. Beeline does amazing alignments. I drive from NC to get them to do the Vette or Jeep
  12. That dude has an EBR?! Tell him I want to ride it
  13. I felt really satisfied when a truck made it all the way through the bridge
  14. Recovery stuff is on the Jeep I looked for trailers and I did find the guys who make the military trailers has one but again ridiculously expensive. I think it is just easier to build one. Springs to get it off the ground. I am going to run the same tires that I run on the Jeep so I have extras already built into the trailer without wasting as much space. Then have an offroad trailer hitch to let it articulate around and I think you would have what you needed. I have the trailer to start it once I do I will see what works for if you need a roof or if you can leave it open. If you keep the amenities down the less you would need for it. No kitchen because new MRE's are DELICIOUS No bathroom because slit trenches are everywhere. No beds or tent because I have a sleeping pad and poncho
  15. So I have never really understood expensive overlander stuff. The point of this is to get away from everything right? So why do people immediately try to take everything with them when doing it? So I have been looking to build a trailer to keep interior space open in the Jeep for people, and I instantly run out of things I would put it the trailer. Tires Axles Water Food Gas No bed, no kitchen, you are supposed to be out in nature. Not spending time in your outfitted campsite Sorry Jesse off topic
  16. Have a 40" bar on my roof rack. Got it from bad apple fabrication online. I am sure it was a chinese brand, but for $300 it has worked flawlessly. I know everyone says Rigid is better but I can not see how it is $700 dollars better. Mine takes a beating from limbs and trees all day and nothing has stopped working. Maybe someone has had problems with them and I am just lucky. http://img259.imagevenue.com/loc49/th_256220121_20150102_212437_122_49lo.jpg

    The Force Awakens

Yep I agree. It wasn't bad. Even George Lucas said the same thing which I think he was right. Disney just made a retro movie. Hopefully it is just a setup for the next two.
  19. Basic training, lol. Bruh if you only knew Operate intelligently and decisively! What bizarro world are you getting that from?
  20. No it is based on being in the Army. Your idea of what the Army does is not based on anything credible. I am not saying that a civilian is as good as anything. I am saying your idea that the military is trained is not accurate and the only reason that people like Howard does not call the Army out for being poorly trained is because they do not want to speak out about something that some keyboard warrior will say they can not know anything about. Hell when I talk to Clark about being a cop I am pretty envious of the training he gets as a cop on room clearing and training. Heck even some courses that civilians take are more than I get. Your example of fighters is like comparing civilians with CAG, the regular Army does not get the training you think they do. If the country knew how incompetent the military as a whole is you would be pouring more money into the Airforce fighter aircrafts and the Navy to keep any threat away from the country, or we start making sure our soldiers could defend against other countries ground forces
