<font color ="midnightblue"> I went Wednesday night with my dad. It was pretty good, though not nearly as good as I expect the Detroit show was (didn't go, just guessing). I'd put it a notch or two above the Columbus Car show. *shrug*

Anyways, they had some cool cars there, some I'd never seen before, and as always, the mods. I took about 200 pictures, but here's an abbreviated version. Enjoy.

<font color ="midnightblue"> That's it. Those are all the main ones. I posted at least one pic of every car I took a picture of (except the Chevrolet Cobalt SS).

Side note- in this last section of cars, the Supra has a cut out on the hood where you can look in and see the engine. Except, it's not an engine you're looking at, but a picture of an engine. graemlins/nonono.gif

They've put a lot of development into it and have several running test cars. No one puts that much effort into a show car.

<font color ="midnightblue"> I actually heard that Chrysler, due to overwhelmingly positive public support, has begun intial tests on making it a limited production car. Whether or not they will has yet to be decided, but it would still be pretty cool to see what comes out of it.

They had a full race version at the SEMA show as a driving demo. The car has done more then initial tests. It's going through an entire development cycle. For the last year they've been putting it through its paces and have actually reached the quoted number above of 210mph. You don't do that without a lot of development already invested in the car. Compare that to the Cadillac Cien concept, that moved under its own power, but never over ~45mph. Also, having more then one running prototype out on the test tracks is a big indicator.

<font color ="midnightblue"> Good to hear. I didn't know it had gotten that far.

In other news, someone on here told me a while ago that the new NSX was cancelled. Yet, clearly, there is a sticker with fuel economy, pricing, options, etc, on the window of the car in the show. Was ist los??

Secondly, what the heck is the little instrument gauge in the rear bumper of that concept toyota truck?

The NSX you have pictured is the current one that's been for sale since 1991 with a few minor revisions. The Next Gen NSX was rumored to be the concept they showed at Detroit last year, the HSC. ( http://www.thrillinghill.com/gallery/GT4-Cars/IMGP1795edit ) Haven't heard that it was cancelled though.
