A lot more work to do on that sucker. But it's gonna be a nasty little shit kicker when we're done ! ! Looks like hell, but I think some guys on here have been on the same boat when tearing a car apart. smile.gif Little by little it will come together. Just meat and potatos are going into this thing. No creature comforts, like A/C.

All quarters are coming off and new ones will be added. A bit of rust but nothing that can't be dealt with.

Turbo or S/C and spray is in the works for the motor. 4 speed tranny would be the shit ! !

Actually the car needed to be stripped down so we could check the car over and fix what was bad, replace rusty bolts ect... We want to make sure it was safe and rock solid. Unfortunatly most of what we took off was junk and will need replaced. We did remove a lot of things that will not go back on though to make the car a little lighter. We did manage to salvage some stuff but most of it was junk. We have some pretty big plans for this thing so we wanted to make sure all our bases were covered. Heck this thing is rock solid compared to those 60's and 70's model drag cars we have built in the past. HA HA. Thanks for the moral support guys.

That engine will be a little tricky. The best thing to do is to jack it WAYYY up at the rear. Then you can "drop" the engine. You might need to drive or put the front wheels up on some wood/blocks so it's elevated. If you have the rear up that high you'll hit the front bottom lip. You'll need a pretty tall hoist for this or have it on something that's stable.

I'm usually free on weekends. I would like to join the fun if it fits in my schedule. graemlins/thumb.gif
