Guest 00Smurf
I have 2 soundstream reference class a 10.0 amplifiers for slae. I recieved these from mudd butt on saturday. The specs can be seen here specs. or heres a brief exerpt: SPECIFICATIONS THD <0.1% Signal to Noise >100 dB Frequency Response 20 Hz to 20 kHz ± 0.5 dB Stereo Separation >90 dB Damping >200 Input Sensitivity 200mV - 2.0V, or 500mV to 5.0V Input Impedance 10K ohms LSE.Q (Reference CA 10.0) 0.7 - 2.8 Q (0 to +9 dB), adjustment from 30 to 60 Hz Dimensions (W x D x H) REFERENCE CLASS A 5.0: 12.25” x 9.8” x 2.25” REFERENCE CLASS A 10.0: 15.0” x 9.8” x 2.25” POWER 4 W Stereo (8 W Bridged) (12 Vdc) 2 W Stereo (4 W Mono) 1 W Stereo (2 W Mono) 1/2 W Stereo (1 W Mono) 1/4 W Stereo (1/2 W Mono) REFERENCE Class A 10.0 Watts 25 x 2 (50 x 1) 100 x 2 (200 x 1) 250 x 2 (500 x 1) 500 x 2 (1000 x 1) 500 x 2 (1000 x 1) RMS One amp works fine. The other amp acording to joel(mudd butt) needs a new capaciter in the power supply side of the amplifier. If you know how to solder and know about electronics total cost for repair is $5.00. Pics availiable upon request. I am asking $400 obo for both amps. Anyone that knows what these amps can do knows that this is a very good deal especially for 2 amps. [ 14. Guest mudbutt
the only apparent damage to the bad one is just a cap and voltage regulator. THe working one works fine and looks awesome. The good one is 9.5:10 in the looks department and the bad one is about an 8. the only marks are on the mounting part anyway, so if they are flush mounted, there wont be any issues anyway. I personally ran the working one at .33 ohms for about 6 months with no issues whatsoever. These amps have NUTS and also can be used for main stage amps if so desired due to their very clean class a circuitry.
