Electrical gremlin on a 92 taurus.

A friend of mine is having problems with her car. it's a 1992 ford taurus.

The symptoms according to her: Nothing electrical works. no lights, no radio, no clock, and no starter.

I suggested a dead battery or alternator, she said both have been tested at Advanced and they are alright. Although someone at advanced told her not to always trust those tests.

She's tried jumping it, and nothing happens.

Maybe a bad ground coming off the battery?

It's either a major ground, or some sort of a failure in the wire or fuseable link that powers the car. On these newer cars, I don't know that they have fuse links any more I believe that some have replaced them with the fuse boxes under the hood. Where is the car at??? I seem to have pretty good luck with electrical problems, maybe I could come take a look.

Corroded chassis ground, use a jumper cable from negative battery terminal to clean paintfree surface somewhere on frame/bolt. The strut tower bolt will work normally.
