06busa
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places that do acid dipping. We are completely restoring a 54 dodge truck and its just about time to get the cab dipped. So, if anyone knows of any good places and if you also have the contact info that would be great. Thanks Brian
Casper
US Metal Works 614-575-1806 They've done some stuff for a few people I know. Good pricing and always a good job. Takes awhile though. They're usually really backed up. Good people though.

zeitgeist57
Do you know where they're located? My friend and I are restoring his '71 Dart and we need the whole body dipped.

06busa
If there are holes or weak spots in the metal the acid will eat through it. But since it was weak anyways you would be welding new in. For metal that is still solid you won't have any problems with acid dipping. One of the most important things is to make sure that ALL of the acid and crap is COMPLETELY washed off and neutralized.
