Timing on 4.3 L Chevy

I'm not completely certain how to do it, but I'd guess you'd have to jump some pins on a diagnostic port on the truck to get it ready to check and then you'd just set the timing. I'm actually not sure that timing is the problem on your blazer. Pretty much all GM small block design engines from 96 and on use a fully computer controlled timming system. Its possible that something like the knock sensor is not working. It detects engine knock and pinging and adjusts timing and other things to compensate for it. So unless you've had the engine apart and set something wrong or missed plugging something in you might have another problem.

I could probably help you out, but I'd definately have to have a manual test the timming and probably do some research on it.
