My gf has a check engine soon light and she had it checked out and they said that it is the tcc cylanoid and i was just wondering how to go about fixing that for her and how hard it will be and what kind of damage it can cause with out being repaired?

You'll probably be ok driving it. If I remember right it only matters if you go WOT a LOT. Like a 3-1 skip shift.. it'll probably just bounce off the rev limiter.

 

Replacement? You'd have to pull off the tranny cover and dig in. It's a $50 sensor, but expenive in labor... and really time consuming.

the transmission shifts fine when shes driving she just has trouble backing up, it doesnt want to move sometimes....also can this do any long term damage...the place that checked it out for her said it would ruin her tranny
