stolen 5.0 Posted January 3, 2005 Report Share Posted January 3, 2005 go to jegs, get head gaskets, intake gaskets, and header gaskets. front cover and water pump gasket set from autozone i think u said u got a cobra intake, so get a gasket for the upper to lower from autozone. few tubes of rtv black arp head bolts or studs, i used bolts. when u pull out ur pushrods and lifters soak them in clean oil 2 oil filters, 10 quarts oil, antifreeze/water i also purchased new true double roller timing chain assembly lube to put on the cam lobes tools: torque wrench, harmonic balancer puller/installer, fuel line disconnect tool anyone feel free to add to this if i've forgotten anything. Dave1647545494 Posted January 3, 2005 Report Share Posted January 3, 2005 you might want to replace all of the other mounting bolts with new stuff so an old crusty bolt doesn't break off while your tightening it down. intake manifold bolts are prone to this. you can also save a little money by purchasing a full gasket set it has all the gaskets in it you need Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
