Guest 2.0ColumbusKing
Anyone seen it done? How were the results? Is it worth the money?
Guest powers
yea 2.0 turbo kits are pretty common. If you were serious then I would tell you to just do a 1.8 swap. But the deal with the 2.0 is this. As far as bolting it on, its simple. Getting the fuel right little harder. Justifying spend the cash on something that will only get you up to 200 hp that's the tough one. You can have better performance for the same money with a swap. IMO. Guest 2.0ColumbusKing
Why would I wanna goto a 1.8T. Once I have it what am I supposed to do? They cost a fortune to upgrade. And its an Aluminum Block. If you could tell some names of people who have 2.0 Turbos besides Saab owners...

fush
1.8T is a cast iron block and its not that expensive to upgrade depending on what you do with it. My friend Chris here in town has a 2.0T. For the amount of money you will dump in the 2.0T you might as well do something else it won't live up to your expectations. Some pics of a 1.8T swap for you. I will update them next week once the engine is in with the new setup and running. http://pwtuning.com/project_cars/1989gti18T/
