desperado
I am considering trying to setup an A/F gauge on both the Camaro AND the S-10 once it's built. I assume that they connect to a O2 sensor, so I have questions. What O2 sensor do I run? What voltage is fed to the heated style? And is the heated considered to be wideband? What else do I need to know to make this happen or is there some other easy way of pulling this off?
nurkvinny
I've seen a couple A/F systems on carbed vehicles. Simple install. The easy way of pulling it off is to get the guage, sensor, and O2 bung together: http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/CategoryDisplay?cgmenbr=361&cgrfnbr=850 This is the last one I saw in a friend's S-10: http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=1526&prmenbr=
iwishiwascool
I hope you mean a wideband... I cant imagine youd waste your time on a standard o2 meter on a 6 second car. heated != wideband.
JaSSon
The O2's on mustangs are heated. I can't imagine ford would use a wideband sensor on the car tho.

iwishiwascool
telling you that a heated o2 doesnt equal a wideband wasnt constructive? oh well, off to the kitchen.
91E39A
Take it easy ladies... Seriously though, it would be wise to look into a Wideband O2 sensor controller and sensor. But then again knowing what to do with the numbers can be tricky. EFI standalone fuel management is my game. I am really interested in converting a carb system to a efi fully programmable system. Gas mileage and drivibility would be insane. -Dan S.
