GRN96WS6
95 Dodge Neon aka POS Headlights won't turn on with the switch, I was thinking that the switch might be bad but they sometimes turn on so I'm thinking it isn't the switch. They also work on the high beams but only if the switch is rigged *I think the lever is bad and needs replaced so that high beams work all the way forward* The bulbs are fairly new so I don't think they are bad. Any Ideas?
Nitrousbird
I'm going to bet it is the switch; probably a short in it. Shouldn't be hard to find in a junk yard. When did you get a Mercury Sable?? graemlins/nonono.gif
Coldblue1999
that model, i believe has the headlamps on the t-signal switch. which is called a multifunction switch. id replace it. there notorious for going bad, and they really jamb to much stuff into the switch which makes it more prone to going out
Bgbdbn
My brothers neon is a 96 model and has gone through two headlight switches already. Some of the wires melted behind the dash on his so you might want to check that out so you dont catch on fire.

I have had it since the beginning of the year. I figured it was the switch, I'll have to check it. The headlamps are not on the MF switch to my knowledge and there is not anymore crammed on there then any GM car (cruise, high beams, turn signals)
