  1. I'm sure my PC rig is nicer than most on here, and I could have went with a PC for the TV instead of my PS3. But the PS3 is far easier to just fire up and go do what you want, when you want it. No configuring this/that, having a keyboard and mouse to do basic functions. I don't game much and most of the games I do play are not available on PC. Blu-ray is far quicker/easier to fire up on a PS3 than a PC. I can easily stream videos on the PS3, look through pics, and all that other crap, so it does all most users need it to do. Yes, surfing the web sucks on a PS3 - which is why we have laptops, iPad, and my main PC.
  2. I knew that was all you could come up with. That's not a game system, that's a PC (and FAR more expensive than a PS3). Try again.
  3. I like. What are the two oval things at the front of the hood?
  4. Well, I decided to let it ride (as I sent him a copy of the receipt I scanned). He filed a claim with Ebay, and I sent my response with a copy of the shipping receipt and explanation that another Ebay bidder, on the same receipt, received their item and left positive feedback. I didn't trust the guy from the beginning when he starts mentioning a refund a couple days after I ship the item.
  5. So what game system out there has the ability to play games, Blu-ray's, and stream multiple types of media? I'm really excited to see this system you know about so I can upgrade away from my PS3.
  6. For that kind of money, they SHOULD have auto-laces and is total BS that they don't.
  7. Works perfectly, mint condition http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&partNumber=DVPCX995V I don't use it much anymore and it doesn't fit in our new entertainment stand we got yesterday, so now I'm considering selling it. Remote doesn't work (I have a touchscreen universal I've used with it), but I'd likely just buy a new remote before selling. Anyone interested? I'm thinking $250.
  8. You know how to make a piece of shit 10x worse? Let you mod it.
  9. Highly unlikely this will sell here, but doesn't hurt to try. Perfect Pass Stargazer: http://www.perfectpass.com/download/StarGazer-Wake-Flyer.pdf Used - Includes the following: - Nautique 5" display. - Stargazer module - Two magnetic timers For drive by wire setups only. Was told for PCM engines only, but I'm not sure if that is true - would need to verify with Perfect Pass. This is a $1200 setup, and these sell for full retail or near it, and not many on the used market. Price: $700 FIRM. Or trade for the same setup for a Malibu without DBW. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=5469
  10. 23 S @ 270 is a VERY different area than 23N near Lewis Center. I'd expect to see that kind of thing 23 S anywhere near 104 / 270, or far worse.
  11. Not worth paying someone to look at it IMO. 42" is too small for a DLP anymore - it has very little used value due to the small screen size (the reason you go DLP is for the large screen size). You can score a new 42" LCD for under $500 (that's name brands and a number to pick from without even looking hard). You could get a used 42" for likely under $300 as they are a super common size.
  12. They just replaced the door on my rental for $695. That said, they have been out once since then to fix it failing (I'm told a wheel on the track came off). They did come out right away, after hours.
  13. And now with pictures: http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/3210/dsc03060v.jpg http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/1707/dsc03061q.jpg http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/6691/dsc03063b.jpg
  14. I'd venture to say most of those hours were riding with me and Jaron - this quad keeps up pretty darn well.
  15. I drive that intersection multiple times a day - it isn't bad at all. Arrows for all the turn lanes, plenty of delay between red and green lights. I've never had or observerd any issues there at all.
  16. Why not bring the Vette on low boost and easily win $10,000 over an 8.90 Mustang?
  17. Marine engines don't require non-ethanol gas, with the exclusion of those older boats that might be running certain rubber parts in the fuel system or have fiberglass fuel tanks. The concern in a marine environment is that some boats are left on the water for extended periods of time, and ethanol loves to absorb water. I put E10 gas in my last boat (an 89) for 11 years without a single fuel system issue ever. Same pump (other than cleaning it), same fuel lines, tank, etc. I rebuilt the carb, but that was because it was cheap and I put a new motor in (oil pump let go on old one, again not fuel related). Even the Indmar owner's manual for my Malibu states Ethanol added gasoline is okay.
  18. Good idea - if I had the serial number. I never used the unit; I bought it in a package with the Alpine Sirius tuner for the head unit in my boat, but I had no use for this tuner (I use the SCVDOC1 instead so I can use my Sportster 5 and not have to pay a seperate monthly fee to Sirius). I may check with the USPS I shipped it from tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do, but I HIGHLY doubt it. I'd rather refund the money than ding my feedback rating.
  19. FYI, I don't have a small business doing this, just selling random stuff I don't need anymore. I would use FedEx if there were any convienent to me - USPS just happens to be on my way to/from work. I'll probably see if he can wait a week or two for refund in case it shows, but I doubt it. I did a Bing maps search on his place, and it is right off a pretty busy freeway and didn't exactly look like a great part of town. If the guy is being legit, another likely scenario is they left it on his step while he was on vacation and someone simply swiped it.
  20. Sold a Sirius tuner on Ebay. Shipped it next day, and 2 weeks later, guy says he still hasn't received it. I've sold a lot of stuff online and never had to deal with this before. - I shipped something the day before, that person got their item - I shipped another item the same day, on the same receipt as this guy's item, and that person also got their item. - Shipped via the cheapest way at USPS - Parcel Post. Notified buyer item shipped on 8/24 - Parcel Post doesn't have a tracking number, just a bill number. Here are the communications with the buyer: Buyer (August 28th): "Hi, I hope all is well! I still have not recieved the item. Could you please let me know the status of the shipment? If it got lost could you please refund me the money?" Me (August 29th): "I mailed it via Parcel Post, so I wouldn't expect it for another couple of days going from Ohio to Texas." Buyer (9/6/11): "Hi, I have been out of town and I have not received my item. I thought when I came back from my trip that the item was going to be here and it still has not been received. Could you please let me know what you want to do next?" Me (9/6/11): "I shipped your item the same day I shipped another item - I just messaged the other buyer to ensure they received their package. Please re-confirm your shipping address for me. I used the address listed in your payment to ship it." Buyer (9/6/11): "Hi, Here is my address **sends me the exact address I sent package to**" Me (9/7/11): "You may want to check with your post office to see if they are holding any packages for you. I checked with the other person I shipped an e-bay item to the same day (on the same receipt even) and he did receive his package." Buyer (9/8/11): "Hi, I went to the post office this morning and there was no packages that they were holding for me. I asked them to see if there was any they could do but they told me that "They could not help me without any tracking number". Please Advise!!" What process should I go from here? I know I shipped it in a properly packaged/sealed box and very clearly addressed it. I have a feeling I'm going to have to eat this, but I'd hate to refund $35 + the $7.65 in shipping and not have my Sirius tuner any longer. Lesson learned to purchase shipping confirmation, but I've shipped a ton of stuff over the years and have never had this issue? Buyer has a 100% feedback rating, as do I.
  21. I like to do the Will Call @ Jeg's distribution center in Delaware. Not too far away the couple bucks in gas is cheaper than the shipping cost for sure.
  22. I hope that artist rendition isn't accurate. It is time that there not be any wasted space on the front of the phone; the phone should be the same size but the entire front be the screen. I have heard it will have an 8 mega pixel camera (long overdue), rumors of an Micro SD slot (I doubt it), no more home button, and thinner than the iPhone 4. I didn't feel the iPhone 4 was a big enough leap to upgrade my 3GS - we will see about the 5.
