Boost-n-Juice
Ok, so I was building a 306, put it all together, triple checked everything, fire it up and it sounds like a diesel Ok, great...I have a diesel Mustang! Niiiice! So several people come over to listen to the Diesel mustang and no one can figure out what the problem is. Tear it down to the short block TWICE! No luck! So I take the engine completly out and STILL no sign of what the problem is! This was my biggest fear. So I call my engine shop guy, he comes over to Mic the cylinder bores and guess what?? They over bored the cylinders!~!!!! (&*%(*$^(%^*@#%#^*#^& Ridenred27 called it....piston slap, sounds lovely I gotta tell ya. So now I'm back to square 1 and out $200 in gaskets and about 24hrs of my life. DAMN THIS HOBBY! Ok, thanks for listening Rant off

Nitrousbird
If they overbored the block, then aren't they partly/fully responsible to pick up some of the costs you incurred because of their screw up??
Boost-n-Juice
Yeah, but I'm friends with the people that work there and they are setting up my new valve springs at no cost. I just want it done, ya know
