Major_Movit
So my car has been leaking oil for quite some time and I thought i'd take it to a machanic to get it fixed. Well he looked at it and said the rear main seal, cams, and timing belt area were leaking. Then he told me he wouldn't fix it because it would be a lot of labor. I'm wondering if any local shops might. I'm also wondering if it would be more cost efficient to just buy a new engine. I hate to see my car in pain oh btw i have a 91' Nissan 300ZX N/A

Buckeye1647545503
If it is indeed NA (turbo = too big of a PIA) I can do it call the shop during the day and I can get you a Quote.

Guest powers
You could just have IPS do a turbo motor conversion for you. They have done alot of na to turbo swaps on 300z's mild to wild. 444-5884 ask for Jeff in case he doesn't answer.
TurboTank
well hes not lying to you there would be alot of labor involed. plenum has to be removed(might as well do egr and collant deleate), tranny, clutch flywheel has to come off. as for the front seal???humm thats proably the oil pump as it is intergrated into the front. might as well do a 60k service. just my 2cents ..u can say ive been through one or 2 hahahah
Turbotrio
300Z's? I guess you could say we work on a few of them http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/Johnnys%20na%20Supra/Zsinshop1.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/Johnnys%20na%20Supra/Zsinshop7.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/Johnnys%20na%20Supra/Zsinshop9.jpg Give me a call about whether you might be interested in a TT swap or i think we have enough NA parts left over to build a good longblock and get you back up NA as well. Take care, Jeff EDIT: Thumb tags, Jeff. Kisses tongue.gif ~Anthony [ 10. June 2005, 06:57 AM: Message edited by: Aggressor ]
